Joseph Edward Earl Olsen
Joseph Edward Earl Olsen, 76, of Independence, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 22, 2026, with his wife, Judy by his side. Joe was born on January 9, 1950, in Menomonie, WI, the son of Edward H. and Gretchen (Anschuetz) Earl. In 1951, Edward and Gretchen were in a tragic motor vehicle accident, and Joe was later adopted by Kay T. and Mildred (Keil) Olsen. Renew your city parking permits
Reminder for current City of Menomonie parking permit holders: if you would like to keep your current parking permit, please renew by end of day Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Current permits expire at the end of May, and new annual permits cover June 2026 through May 2027. Permits not renewed by June 3 may become available to other individuals on the waiting list, and we cannot guarantee availability after that date.
