Blasting approved for project at Point Comfort Park
The City Council approved a blasting permit for work at Point Comfort Park, where the sanitary sewer lift station is being relocated as part of improvements to the parking lot and boat ramp. Contractor Pember Companies encountered bedrock during excavation and requested a permit, which the council granted at its meeting on September 8th.
