At the January 20th meeting, the Menomonie City Council voted to delay appointing a replacement for the vacant Ward 9 alderperson seat, opting instead to open the position to interested residents. Wisconsin voters will elect a new Supreme Court Justice on April 7, 2026. Event co-sponsors are  the UW–Stout's Menard Center , Community Conversations of Northwest Wisconsin, and the League of Women Voters-St. Croix Valley Chapter.
