James G. Treadwell, age 92, of Menomonie, WI, passed away Friday, June 12, after a long and prosperous life. James was born April 25, 1934, in Madison, WI, to Charles Treadwell and Verona Koberstein. He grew up in the Madison area and graduated from Central Senior High School. James, known to many as Jim, married Arlyn Scheifel on November 27, 1965, at St. Patrick’s Church in Madison, WI. Marilyn Elaine McQuiston passed away peacefully at American Lutheran Home in Menomonie, WI on June 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born August 1, 1934 in Eau Claire, WI to Alvin Mai and Tena (Baldwin) Mai. She grew up in the Eau Claire area and graduated from the Eau Claire High School in 1952. Marilyn married the love of her life Jacob McQuiston on September 11, 1954 at Chapel 11 at 11:00 a.m. in Fort Riley, Kansas while Jacob was enlisted in the Army.

Duane Richard Kostman, 85 of Boyceville, WI passed away peacefully at home on May 30th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Duane was born May 20th, 1941 to Elmer Kostman and Blonda (Koonst). Duane was a graduate of Menomonie High School. After graduation Duane went into the Army and served from 1961 to 1966. Duane met the love of his life Kendra Zielsdorf through a set-up by Kendra’s sister Marlene. Duane and Kendra were married on August 19, 1967. Duane worked for Century Fence
