Free movie showing at UW Stout: Zootopia 2

Blue Devil Productions will host a screening of Zootopia 2 on April 10th. There will be two showings, one at 6 pm and one at 9 pm in APPA 210. This event is free and open to the public. Douglas W. Van Blaricom, age 71 of Menomonie passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at his home. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Celebrant Teresa Pejsa officiating. Dunn County offering free well testing

Dunn County officials want 300 people with private wells to have their water tested free for nitrates this summer. “The well water sample will be analyzed for nitrates by the Dunn County Health Department Water Lab, and for this specific program, this is done at no cost to the participant,” said Heather Wood, Dunn County water resources specialist. Head varsity football coach Mike Sinz has informed Menomonie High School Activities Director Matt Riley of his intention to leave the Menomonie Football Program at the end of the 2025-26 school year. Mustang boys basketball wins sectional semi-final, sectional final set for March 14th

Update: the boys won the semifinal game on Thursday night by defeating the New Richmond Tigers. The following is from the MHS announcements. Menomonie Mustangs Boys Basketball Team Got it Done last night defeating New Richmond 83-77 and advanced to the Sectional Final on tomorrow with the winner advancing to State! Leading the way for the Mustangs was Tyler Nelson scoring 20 points and Jake Rue 17 points. The Mustangs will be playing West Salem at Arcadia High School.
