Dunn County Fair Opens July 22nd: Blue Jeans and Country Dreams

The Dunn County Fair is scheduled for July 23-27. The fair schedule and other information can be found below. Robert "Butch" "Bob" Eggen, 82, Menomonie, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Bob was born in St. Paul, MN on December 2, 1943, a son of the late Howard and Shirley (Fabrini) Eggen. He attended local schools and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in Roseville. Bob enjoyed a special relationship with his grandma Lil and carried those memories with him always. Soon after graduating, Bob enlisted in the US Navy. He served

On July 14 and July 15, the City of Menomonie experienced a significant loss of pressure within portions of the municipal water distribution system due to exceptionally high water demand, resulting in critically low water tower levels.
