Dunn County Transit announces record‑setting community route ridership in 2025
Dunn County Transit recently reported that 2025 ridership on Community Route was the highest in history. Facilities, Parks and Transit Director Austin Witt recently presented the 2025 Transit Annual Report to the Dunn County Board, which included the Community Route amassing 20,660 rides in 2025. Sheriff's Office seeking victims of projectiles
In the past several months the Sheriff's Office has received numerous reports of subjects driving on STH 25 north or south of Menomonie having their vehicles being struck by a water bottle or unknown object causing damage to their vehicles. Road Closure Notice: Wolske Bay Road
Wolske Bay Road will be closed Tuesday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 18 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days to allow crews to safely remove trees impacted by the Emerald Ash Borer. Residents of the City of Menomonie will see a Mayoral Primary on the ballot on February 17, 2026. Three candidates have filed papers to run for the office of Mayor of Menomonie, triggering a needed Spring Primary. Wakanda Waterpark passes available

City Council approves rental ordinance
The City Council Chambers were full on Monday, February 2nd, as council members considered proposed Ordinance 2026-02, which would repeal and replace Title 9, Chapter 2 governing residential rental properties.
