Crash closes I-94 in Dunn County

At 2:03 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, a crash occurred on I-94 EB/WB at mile marker 39 in DUNN County near MENOMONIE. 

Assisting agencies included Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, Menomonie Police Department, Jerry’s Towing, Dunn County Highway Department, and Township Fire.

The details of the crash are as follows: 

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on I-94 at mile marker 39 in Dunn County. A truck traveling eastbound lost its trailer, which traveled through the median and came to rest on its side in the westbound lanes. The interstate remained closed for approximately two hours until the trailer could be removed. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
