Stout Adventures Youth Climbing League

Dunn County 4-H News: February 2026
There is a lot happening with Dunn County 4-H! It has been a busy month for our 4-H Youth. First, they had a chance to shine at UW-Stout 4-H STEM Days when they made Lithophane Light Boxes. The instructors at UW-Stout’s “Fab Lab” demonstrated to the group how to 3D print photographs and laser cut wood pieces to make their boxes. Youth cross country ski class
Our Youth Cross Country Ski Class begins this Sunday, February 1st! There is still time to sign your child up. There are two different class times and ages. - Ages 7-10: 2:00-2:30pm - Ages 10-14: 2:45-3:15pm The class will be held at the SDMA Bjornson Environmental Site. Cross country skis and poles provided. NFL Flag Football registration open
Carbonite Sports Youth NFL Flag Football is open to students in grades K though 12, from any community or school district. We have both co-ed divisions and all-girls divisions , with games played on Saturdays at the Menomonie Middle School in Menomonie, WI. The Spring 2026 season runs April 18th through June 6th. Our Learning Together Storytime is for children of all ages attending with a caregiver. There will be stories and learning fun for everyone! Community finds value in 4-H and UW-Stout Art Education Collaboration

Art U: art lessons for youth grades K-12
Any youth in grades K-12th may participate in Art U. Art U is a collaboration between 4-H and the UW-Stout at which art lessons will be given by the UW-Stout Art Education students. Youth grades K-6th will have virtual instruction while youth 7-12th will attend classes at UW-Stout. These sessions will be held on Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m. from February 12-March 12. Art U will conclude with an in-person celebration and art show at UW-Stout on Thursday, March 12th at 6:30pm.
