Dunn County Board approves 2026 budget with lower tax rate and ambitious road improvements

Day of Caring brings together over 120 volunteers for 16 community projects
Over 120 volunteers rolled up their sleeves for United Way St. Croix & Red Cedar Valleys annual Day of Caring, completing 16 community projects across Dunn and Pepin counties. Thomas R. Schleusner
Thomas Rodney Schleusner, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 9, 2025. He was born on March 28, 1965, to Loren and Mary (Hitz) Schleusner. Tom grew up in the Boyceville area and graduated from Boyceville High School. Tom worked for many years at Nedland Industries, where he served as a lead maintenance technician and took great pride in his work. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Reeve Free Evangelical Church with Pastor Todd Groat officiating, followed by a luncheon.
