Unofficial results, as provided by the Dunn County Clerk's office , show that Matthew Crowe (942 votes) and Randy Knaack (642) were the top two vote getters in Tuesday's election and will be facing off on April 7th to see who will be the next mayor of Menomonie.

Bruce J. Kistner, age 61, of Elk Mound, WI, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at home after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. He was born April 21, 1964, in Menomonie, WI, surprising his parents, Roy and Patricia (Burnell) Kistner, as Bruce was an unexpected twin. Sheriff's Office seeking victims of projectiles
In the past several months the Sheriff's Office has received numerous reports of subjects driving on STH 25 north or south of Menomonie having their vehicles being struck by a water bottle or unknown object causing damage to their vehicles. We also believe that other instances have occurred but were not reported to the Sheriff's Office.
