William James Stoeklen Sr., age 91, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 3, 2026, after a short stay at Luther Mayo in Eau Claire. He was born July 7, 1935, to Leo and Opal Stoeklen in Spooner, WI. Bill married Evelyn Gray on May 21, 1955, and they made their lifelong home in the village of Weston in Dunn County, WI. On September 29, 2026, at approximately 6:36 AM, the Dunn County Communication Center received a 911 call reporting a two-vehicle crash with injury. The crash occurred on Highway 12/29, just east of 765th Street in the Township of Elk Mound, Dunn County, Wisconsin. The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Colfax Ambulance, Elk Mound
