Governor Evers approves pavement marking project in 16 counties
To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Gov. Tony Evers has signed a $2.08 million contract with prime contractor Century Traffic of Pewaukee for pavement marking in 16 counties in WisDOT’s Northwest Region. Fraud alert from the Dunn County Sheriff's Office
The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office has been notified by several people that they have received phone calls from someone claiming to be from the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, Jail Division asking for money for family members that are currently in jail. The Dunn County Jail will never call family members or friends of inmates to ask for money to pay for special programs or special housing for their loved one. After years of work, the City of Menomonie is nearing completion of removing boulevard trees impacted by emerald ash borer. So far this year, crews have removed over 240 trees, with just 8 boulevard ash trees remaining. Once those are completed, removal of ash trees along boulevards will be finished.
