Work from I-94 in Menomonie to County D includes placing new asphalt pavement

To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Gov. Tony Evers has signed a $4.98 million contract with prime contractor Monarch Paving Co. of Amery for a resurfacing project on WIS 25 from I-94 in Menomonie north to County D.
Construction is expected to start the week of April 13.
This segment of WIS 25 is showing signs of deterioration. To address this and other issues, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is proposing:
Removing a portion of the existing pavement from the bridge over I-94 to the railroad bridge and placing new asphalt pavement
Recycling a portion of the existing pavement, mixing it with a stabilizing agent, relaying it and placing new asphalt over the roadway from the railroad bridge to County D
Adjusting or replacing guardrail
Completing culvert maintenance
Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps and traffic signals
Replacing pavement markings
Building roundabouts on WIS 25 at the north and south junctions of County BB will be constructed through a separate future project.
During construction, WIS 25 will remain open during construction, but motorists will encounter lane closures and traffic shifts and might encounter short-duration access modifications.
Construction is scheduled for completion in early August.
