Menomonie High School will hold the 2026 prom this Saturday, April 25th. The theme for the evening is "A Night with Gatsby". Members of the prom court have been revealed ahead of Saturday’s event. The prom court consists of MHS juniors Elsa Bowman, Jai Hasse, Jasaiah Lor, Ellie Zydowsky, Aidan Aure, Bruce Behrend, Ari Delong, and Aaron Howard. Head varsity football coach Mike Sinz has informed Menomonie High School Activities Director Matt Riley of his intention to leave the Menomonie Football Program at the end of the 2025-26 school year. Update: the boys won the semifinal game on Thursday night by defeating the New Richmond Tigers. The following is from the MHS announcements. Menomonie Mustangs Boys Basketball Team Got it Done last night defeating New Richmond 83-77 and advanced to the Sectional Final on tomorrow with the winner advancing to State!  Leading the way for the Mustangs was Tyler Nelson scoring 20 points and Jake Rue 17 points.    The Mustangs will be playing West Salem at Arcadia High School.

The Menomonie Varsity Dance Team is officially State Bound, and their journey there has been nothing short of remarkable.
