Rodney R. Schwiesow

Rodney Richard Schwiesow, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Prescott, WI on July 5, 2025.

He was born on May 24, 1958 to Sidney and Bessie (Braddy) Schwiesow in Rockford Il. He grew up in Byron Il, then the farm in Spring Valley, WI before moving to Oakdale, Mn where he graduated from Tarton High School.

He pursued a career as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics worked for most recently with Delta in Minneapolis where he was respected for his knowledge and commitment.

Rodney is survived by his wife Nancy; children, Coral Riggs, (Matt), Quinn (Amber) Schwiesow; siblings, Beverly Meisenhelder, Gail (William) Hahn, Cathy St Martin, Jeffery (Dorothy) Schwiesow, and Robert (Debbie) Schwiesow. He is further survived by his many nieces and nephews and “adopted” sister-in-law Karen Fasulo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law Daniel Meisenhelder and Thomas St Martin and “adopted” brother Walter Fasulo.

His family and friends will forever miss his huge endless hugs and his many stories.

A Celebration of Life is planned for August 23. May he and his motorcycle continue to chase his shooting star!
