Robert K. Rice

Robert K. Rice, age 63 of Menomonie, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at his home.

Robert Kevin Rice was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin on August 8th, 1962 to Bob and Trudy Rice. Rob lived most of his life in Menomonie, graduating from high school in 1980.

After high school he moved with a couple friends to Corpus Christie Texas where he resided for a short while. He became homesick for the Midwest and moved back to Menomonie and got a job as a construction laborer with his dad at Adjustable Joist Company where he would walk trusses on high rise buildings. Rob took pride in his work and enjoyed showing people the buildings that he had worked on.

Rob married Jo Neverdahl in 1989, they later divorced but in his last months they renewed their friendship.

Rob was a talented musician and woodworker. Everyone who knew him remembers him fondly.

Rob is preceded in death by his mother and father and grandparents.

Rob is survived by his sisters Renee (Paul) Maki, Carla Rice, and Courtney Rice, very special cousin Donny Rice who was there to care for him in his last months, and his nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
