Pamela Mary “Pammy” Kay, age 71, of Elk Mound, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30th, 2025. Pam was born on October 29th, 1954, in Hartford, WI, to Anne and Kenneth Kay.
Pam lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and an enduring love for those around her. Though she faced many challenges throughout her life, she met them with courage, humor, and an unwavering spirit that inspired everyone who knew her.
Pam was friendly and outgoing, always quick to offer a smile or a welcoming conversation. She was a loyal friend who cherished her relationships deeply and made everyone feel welcome in her presence.
She loved spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. More than that, Pam loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She was a silly, affectionate Grammy who delighted in laughter, games, and the simple joy of being together. She was the keeper of their secrets and a master of board games—especially Uno and Old Maid—which always ended in laughter and happy memories.
Pam’s family and friends will remember her for her laughter, her sense of humor, and her enduring spirit for life. She found joy in the everyday moments and shared that joy generously with others.
Pam is survived by her three daughters: Tara (Paul) Harycki, Chelsie (Jackson) McMahon, and Krystal (Jay) Groninger; her beloved grandchildren, Jada and Samuel; Abraham and Elias; Aleah, Quinn, Nora, and Ivy. She is also survived by her siblings Terese Kay, Francis (James) Daniel, Cynthia (Timothy) Egger, and Keith (Mary) Kay; sister-in-law Theresa Kay; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Nancy Moen and Sandra Sternweis; brothers Kenneth Kay and Kurt Kay; and her parents Anne and Kenneth Kay.
Pam’s love, laughter, and light will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of life will be held at Cedarbrook Church (3502 Wilson St NE in Menomonie, WI) on Saturday, November 8th at 11am. Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories and honor Pam’s life."
