He dropped off copies of his new book "White Pine & Red Cedar" which explores the role of Red Cedar Lake in Knapp-Stout's White Pine Empire, and the life and times of one of the era's most successful Lumber Barons. It has wonderful old photographs and maps on almost every page. You can purchase the book at the Rassbach Museum's gift shop.
From a Facebook post: Every June, the Alliance of Dunn County Conservation and Sports Clubs, along with the Dunn County Fish and Game Club, hold a Disabled Fishing Event on Lake Menomin. This event takes a small army of volunteers, led by Scott Sinz. We could use 3-4 more pontoon boats for this year's event. Event insurance is provided for volunteers.
