Arbor Place is looking for volunteers to do compliance checks at place that sell tobacco in Dunn County. Participants must be 16 or 17. Pay or volunteer hours can be offered. Contact Kallie at 715-235-4537, ext. 222 or email kgirdeen@arborplaceinc.org

The Menomonie Lions Club is doing some fixing up at their Wakanda Park Memorial. I shared a post about it this week. Here is a video from the groundbreaking/ribbon cutting ceremony. WEAU also covered it - watch it HERE.

Mayor Randy Knaack was on WQOW helping to promote the Chris Kroeze concert that will take place after the homecoming parade this Friday. Watch it HERE.

Wilson Creek Inn is going to be featured on America's Best Restaurants. A release date for the episode hasn't been announced yet. Episodes appear online at America's Best Restaurants website.

The Blind Munchies (621 Wilson Avenue) is serving Saturday morning breakfasts from 9am-12pm. The cost is $3 with a student ID and $5 without.

Shared on Facebook by the Foster Closet: Love You, Kid! Inc. is a great foundation here in WI that has helped support some of our programs this year. They are holding an online raffle in September with some great prizes. Your support of them is another way to help support us. Check out the raffle HERE.
