Menomonie Boys Hockey kicks off its season with a fresh new coaching staff, but lost 11 seniors last year, and is looking for players to fill those spots.

This year’s coaching staff consists of head coach Alex Stuckert, assistant coach Ryan Booth, and assistant coach Mike Sullivan.

Menomonie has five seniors this year: Wren Swaenepoel (Forward), Davin Ellis (Goalie), Ryan Xu (Defenseman), Brock Wilkens (Defenseman), and Bryekin Leach (Defenseman).  Senior Wren Swaenepoel says, “We have a young team, but we are excited for the season,” about the upcoming season.

The Mustangs began official practices on November 10th and opened their season with an out-of-conference game against Barron on November 25th. Menomonie defeated the Bears 10-2. On December 2nd, Menomonie will travel to River Falls for their first conference game at 7:00 PM.
