The Menomonie Equestrian Team recently competed in the District 5 WIHA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Horsemanship Association) Division A Show and came away as District Champions.

Coach Tricia Kwak credited the team's hard work and determination, noting that the riders have worked toward this goal since early August. Led by lone senior Allison Bartlett, the team overcame challenges throughout the season and never gave up.

The Mustangs will now compete for the 2026 state championship Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at the WIHA State Championship Show at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.

Congratulations and best of luck at the state championship!
