Menomonie Area Chamber & Visitor Center announces CEO transition, begins search for next executive leader

The Menomonie Area Chamber & Visitor Center Board of Directors has launched its search for  the organization's next Chief Executive Officer following the announcement that CEO Ashley DeMuth has accepted the  position of President & CEO of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. DeMuth will continue serving as CEO of the  Menomonie Area Chamber & Visitor Center through September 11, 2026. 

Since joining the Chamber in 2020, DeMuth has led the organization through a period of strategic transformation,  strengthening its focus on business advocacy, workforce development, economic growth, leadership development, and community partnerships. During her tenure, the Chamber also expanded its role as the community's Destination  Marketing Organization while continuing to provide meaningful value and resources to its member investors. 

"Serving as Ashley's Board Chair has been a privilege. I've had the opportunity to see firsthand the passion,  professionalism, and care she has brought to this organization. While we're certainly sad to see her go, we're also incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished here. Ashley will leave the Chamber in a much stronger position  than when she joined it, and I believe we're well positioned to welcome the next leader who will continue building on  that strong foundation. The Board of Directors has officially launched the search for the Chamber's next Chief Executive Officer. Applications received by 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, will receive full consideration. Applications submitted after that time may be considered at the discretion of the Search Committee until the position is filled.
