Gerald "Jerry" M. Krear, age 65, of River Falls Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Menomonie Wisconsin, on July 16th, 2025.
Gerald was a kindhearted, loving soul who absolutely loved life and everything that came with it. Gerald enjoyed being outside and working on whatever he could get his hands on and absolutely loved spreading his knowledge to those around him.
Gerald was a veteran, serving his time in the US Army, stationed in Germany. Gerald was also a member of the union for many years. Gerald was a man of many trades, he was a well-seasoned journeyman, with many years of experience.
Gerald loved his family. All the time spent with his family was deeply cherished, and provided Gerald with fond, loving memories. Gerald loved to tell stories about his life growing up with his siblings, Jeff, Johnny, Carol, Jodi, and Patty; and his parents, Marlyn and Darlene Huppurt.
Gerald was a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, a son, and father of six boys, Allen, Jere, Steve, Matthew, Nicholas, and Jacob. In his final months, Gerald was cared for by his two sons, Nicholas and Jacob, who helped keep him comfortable.
Gerald loved his life, and he lived it the way he wanted to, shining light on everyone around him. Gerald will be deeply missed by his family.
Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 30, 2025 at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located in Spooner, Wisconsin (N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI 54801)
