Muriel Joles, age 97, of Boyceville, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, at Comforts of Home in Menomonie, WI. Muriel Mae Austreng was born on December 10, 1928, in Dunn County, WI, to Clarence Austreng and Cynthia Maude (Williams) Austreng. She grew up in Wheeler, WI, and on November 28, 1945, she married Harry Joles Sr. Together, they celebrated 55 years of marriage until he passed away on October 1, 2001. Timothy Roman Lutz, beloved teacher, "piano man," and advocate for the arts in the Menomonie and Eau Claire communities, passed peacefully September 5, 2026 following a long, courageous battle with early-onset Primary Progressive Aphasia Frontal Temporal dementia. Virginia M. Skjegstad
Virginia M. Skjegstad died peacefully on Friday, September 4, the day after her 98th birthday at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. She was born on September 3, 1928, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, to Pete and Myrtle (Lauber) Stoll. Virginia graduated from Menomonie High School with the class of 1946. She married Eugene H.
