Life and Family James Arthur Dotseth, age 89, of Menomonie, WI, was welcomed into heaven on Monday, July 6, 2026. He was born on June 18, 1937, in Knapp, WI, to William and Henrietta (Stone) Dotseth. Jim grew up in Knapp, where he attended grade school, and graduated from Boyceville High School in the spring of 1956. Jim entered the Army and served as a photographer. Viola Catherine Traxler, 91, Menomonie, died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at The Neighbors of Dunn County. Vi was born in Menomonie, WI on June 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Leroy and Margaret (Simon) Rogers. She attended local schools and was a 1953 graduate of Menomonie High School. Arden W. Alexander of Menomonie, WI, passed away, Monday, July 6, 2026 at Mayo Hospital in Menomonie. He was born July 10, 1932, at his home in Rice Lake, WI, to Robert Alexander and Wanda (West). Lester Duane Johnson, age 95 of Menomonie passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. Lester was born February 14, 1931 on a farm in the township of Hay River near Wheeler, WI; son of Carl Invold and Rosie (Flug) Johnson. Wakanda Waterpark is open
UPDATE: The Wakanda Waterpark is open as of July 8th (however, it did close early due to the rain). It will be open on Thursday, July 9th, at 12:30 pm.
