City of Menomonie Water System Update - July 17th, 1:45 pm
Boil advisory lifted for most of city The City of Menomonie is providing the following afternoon update regarding the water system: The Precautionary Boil/Bottle Water Advisory has been lifted for most of the City of Menomonie (see #2). Results from testing indicated that all but one sample came back negative (which is good) for coliform bacteria. The City of Menomonie is providing the following afternoon update regarding the water system: The City appreciates the steps that users have taken to reduce water consumption. Based upon the water levels in the elevated towers, which continue to rise, all portions of the water system service area have water pressure. Robert "Bob" Eggen
Robert "Butch" "Bob" Eggen, 82, Menomonie, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Bob was born in St. Paul, MN on December 2, 1943, a son of the late Howard and Shirley (Fabrini) Eggen. He attended local schools and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in Roseville. Bob enjoyed a special relationship with his grandma Lil and carried those memories with him always. Soon after graduating, Bob enlisted in the US Navy. He served
