Roger Garfield Lund age 81, of Menomonie, WI passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at his home surrounded by his wife and children after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. City provides update on water system
The City of Menomonie is providing the following update regarding the water system: The City appreciates the steps that users have taken to reduce water consumption. City crews worked overnight to maintain flow from the wells and booster pumps to the elevated water towers. All three elevated water towers are approximately one-third full as of 7:00am, and climbing. Based upon the water levels in the elevated towers, all portions of the water system have water pressure. Water boil advisory issued by City of Menomonie
On July 14 and July 15, the City of Menomonie experienced a significant loss of pressure within portions of the municipal water distribution system due to exceptionally high water demand, resulting in critically low water tower levels.
