Wilson Place Tours available

The Mabel Tainter Theater and the Wilson Place Mansion & Museum are excited to announce a new partnership to expand historical tour offerings throughout Menomonie in efforts to grow tourism and culture. Tours will be provided by The Mabel Tainter's docent program and will be offered periodically throughout the year. Ticket fees will go directly to the preservation and restoration of both The Mabel Tainter Theater and Wilson Place Mansion.

Tour are available Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th. To purchase tickets, visit the Mabel Tainter website, or call 715-235-0001, or stop into Mabel Tainter Theater Box Office Thursday - Saturday from 11am - 4pm. 

Tour will highlight the founding families of Menomonie, showcase life in the 19th and early 20th century, and explore the beautiful collections and house of 3 generations of a lumbering family. 

Tours last roughly 1 hour and will run on the hour. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to tour time. Tour groups will be capped at 8 people per tour. Restroom facilities are limited in the mansion, so please plan accordingly. The Mansion is not handicap accessible. Parking is available at the Mansion on the South side of the property. Please enter through the Gallery Store located on the North side of the building. 

Mabel Tainter Theater offers free guided tours on Fridays and Saturdays from 12-3pm. Bus tours of both Wilson Place Mansion and Mabel Tainter Theater can be coordinated. For large tour bookings or questions, please contact Mabel Tainter Box Office at boxoffice@mabeltainter.org. Thank you!
