Susan Marie (Hall) Stainer, 82, passed away peacefully at home on August 18th, 2026.
Born on March 14th, 1944, to Clifford Hall and Helen Keck. Susan dedicated her life to her faith and her family. She had a strong connection with God and prayed to him daily. If you were ever in need of prayers, call mom/grandma.
Susan was a CNA at the old Dunn County Health Care Center until her retirement. She spent many years taking care of others while raising her family. In her later years, she found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and reading anything she could get her hands on. She always gave the best hugs and reminded us of how blessed she was to be our mom/grandma. She was very proud to be given the title “Munga” by her great grandkids.
Susan is survived by her daughters, Chris (Billie) Stainer of Arizona and Missy (Tyrone) Cockeram of Florida; daughter-in-law, Elene Stainer; her six grandchildren, Shanen (Jason) Stuart, Brady (Holly) Stainer, Brooke (Jake Redetzke) Stainer, and Sarah (Kyle) Holden of Menomonie, and Tracen and Tanner Cockeram of Florida. Her pride and joy in her later years were her four great-grandchildren, Shaylee and Jax Stuart and Charlie and Blakley Stainer. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy (Paul) Cutler of Iowa.
While she leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love here on earth, her family is comforted knowing she was able to meet her Lord face to face and be reunited with her son, Todd. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later time.
We would like to thank the Menomonie EMS/Fire for their assistance with grandma. She spoke so highly of every one of you that she came in contact with over the years.
We also would like to thank her friends Bonnie and Jody for all they did to help grandma in her home.
