Cynthia Ann (Burr) Quilling

Cynthia Ann Quilling, 72, of Menomonie, WI, passed away on Sunday, October 4th, 2026, after a battle with lung cancer and other health issues.

Cindy was born on May 4th, 1954, in Milwaukee, WI, to Gerald & Barbara (Bergemann) Burr. She lived in various cities in Wisconsin and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1972.

She married John (Jack) R. Quilling on October 28th, 1972, at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie. They had three children and lived the majority of their lives on the Quilling family farm, where Jack farmed and Cindy was a CNA until she retired.

Cindy is survived by her three children: Cherri (Dan) Hofbauer, Jay (Angela) Quilling, Shawn Quilling; brothers: Steve (Judy) Burr, Randy Burr, Phillip (Ruth) Burr, Rich Burr; sisters: Linda Kernen, Debbie Hodas, Pamela Dutter, Wendy Burr; sister-in-law, Vickie Shepard; 11 grandchildren: Brooke, Jordan, Kenzi, Harlee, Justice, Shawn Jr., John, Hope, Koltin, Jaylin, Kadin; seven great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) R. Quilling; her parents, Gerald & Barbara Burr; her sister, Mary Margaret Burr; her mother- and father-in-law, John M. & Lillian C. Quilling; her brothers-in-law, Steve Hodas, Jerry Dutter, Larry Shepard; and her sister-in-law, Judy Berg.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at YMCA Camp St. Croix, located at 532 County Road F in Hudson, WI.
