Roger G. Lund

Roger Garfield Lund age 81, of Menomonie, WI passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at his home surrounded by his wife and children after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born August 20, 1944 in Menomonie, WI to Garfield Lund and Marcella (Knutson). He was raised on a farm near Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1962.

Roger married Carolyn Seitz June 30, 1967 at St Peter’s Lutheran Church in Elmwood. Together they farmed north of Menomonie and had three children. In 1979, they moved to Missouri. He worked as a warehouse manager until his retirement. They returned home to Menomonie in 2012. Roger lovingly cared for his wife’s parents and brother Randy for many years. He dearly loved his family and delighted in his grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn of Menomonie; son Robert (Sarah) of Colorado Springs, daughter Melissa of Minneapolis. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Iris and August, and siblings Arla Graff, Ron (Roz) Lund, Sandy (Tom) Olson, Rick Lund, Nancy (Rodger) Bourget, and a beloved community of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Marcella and his infant son Ryan Garfield.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2026 at Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie, WI with Pastor Michael Behm officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with a luncheon following.
