Bob began a 30-year career at North Star Steel where he worked as a crane operator. On August 21, 1994, Bob married Marne (McGuire). Following his retirement, Bob and Marne moved to rural Menomonie, WI where he continued to enjoy fishing and motorcycles, both lifetime hobbies.
