The Menomonie Police Department reports the arrest of an employee of ReforMedicine, 800 Wilson Ave, Suite 28, Menomonie, WI, following an investigation into the unlawful placement of a recording device inside the facility. On November 19, 2025, clinic staff reported concerns regarding finding an unauthorized recording device within a non-public area of the clinic. The Menomonie Police Department was notified by clinic staff on November 26, 2025, of the recording device and initiated a thorough inquiry to determine the nature and scope of the incident.

As a result of the investigation, Medical Assistant Meng Vang, d.o.b. 3/13/1977, who was employed by ReforMedicine, was identified as the suspect. On December 22, 2025, Vang was taken into custody, and a search warrant was conducted at Vang’s residence, 3136 Runway Ave in Eau Claire, with the assistance of the Eau Claire Police Department and the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department. The individual was arrested and booked on charges related to Invasion of Privacy and Representations Depicting Nudity. No evidence at this time suggests that patients or staff were specifically targeted, and the investigation remains ongoing.
