Public School Funding 101

A three-part series is planned to help citizens learn more about how public school funding works and what they can do to help sustain quality public education in the Chippewa Valley. Â
The League of Women Voters – Greater Chippewa Valley chapter and co-sponsor, the Wisconsin Public Education Network, invite people to:
Thursday, January 15, 4:00 p.m. by Zoom, Public School Funding 101--What We Citizens Need to Know, Session 1;
Thursday, February 19, 4:00 p.m. by Zoom, Public School Funding 101--What We Citizens Need to Know, Session 2; andÂ
Tuesday, March 3, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in-person event at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Library in Eau Claire, Public School Funding--Facts and Challenges for the Chippewa Valley, featuring five presenters. They are:
Chad Trowbridge, Business Manager, Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District
Eric Wright, Superintendent, Elk Mound Area School District;
Mike Johnson, Superintendent, Eau Claire Area School DistrictÂ
Rachel Henderson, Board President, School District of the Menomonie Area
Chris Hambuch-Boyle, Wisconsin Public Education Network
Master of Ceremonies is Debra Cronmiller, Executive Director, League of Women Voters of Wisconsin.
All events are free, and the public is welcome to attend.Â
