The City of Menomonie Urban Forestry Board is seeking nominations from the public for the 2024 Menomonie Forestry Friends Award. The award is given each year to an individual, organization or business involved in exemplary tree planting and environmental practices in the City of Menomonie. More information on the award and the nomination form can be found online HERE. Award nominations are due on March 11, 2024. Family pool passes for the Wakanda Waterpark are on sale now.  Save $15 if purchased before April 25, 2024. With each family pool pass, you will receive a punch card with 10 free punches to be used for a nonfamily member at the Wakanda Waterpark or you can use the punch card at the Eau Claire & Chippewa Falls pools.

The Spirit Room at the Mabel Tainter announced that they are now open on Wednesdays. The current schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 pm-10:00 pm.

The Menomonie Minute posts job openings under very limited circumstances at this time. There is a local woman with disabilities that uses in home caregivers, and she posts on Facebook when she is in need of new helpers.
