Don’t let scammers take your money.

Know the warning signs. Protect yourself.

DO NOT PAY APPLICATION FEES OR SECURITY DEPOSITS

• Never pay any fees or deposits before seeing the rental in person.

VERIFY THE PROPERTY MANAGER

• Research the property management company.

• Call them using a phone number from their official website, not the listing.

BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT DEALS THAT SEEM TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

• Extremely low rent or pressure to act fast are common red flags.
