Menomonie Market Food Co-op announces this year's Fund Our Foodshed grant recipients

Menomonie Market Food Co-op is elated to announce this year's Fund Our Foodshed grant recipients!

In our ninth year we are awarding six local farmers and producers grants a combined total of $25,800! This is the most recipients and funds we have granted since the beginning of the Fund Our Foodshed grant in 2018. We are thrilled that this program continues to expand thanks to our amazing and generous community that rounds up at our registers.

This year's recipients include Beloved Acres Farm, Jill and Lilly's Homemade, Racing Heart Farm, Fun Guy Farm, Cultivating The Commons , and YMCA Camp St. Croix Farm & Garden, whose projects will have a direct effect on our local food economy and support a thriving and healthy community.

Supporting small farms and local producers is especially important right now. Programs like Fund Our Foodshed help strengthen the regional food system by helping small farms and producers invest in equipment, infrastructure and growth, keeping food dollars local, supporting sustainable agriculture and ensure our community continues to have access to fresh, locally produced food.
