Keith “Mogie” Moessner
Keith Robert Moessner, age 91 of Menomonie, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7th at Comforts of Home, Menomonie.
He was born and raised in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1953. He attended U.W. Stout, served in the Army and retired from 3M.
Mogie was a gifted athlete and elite basketball player still holding scoring records at MHS and was inducted into the first-ever Menomonie High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015. He was a huge fan of all boys and girls’ sports at MHS and Stout and an avid outdoorsman his entire life.
Mogie is survived by his son Todd (Karen) of Brooklyn Park, MN and son Troy of Menomonie, WI. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Travis Moessner, Stefanie Bohl, Mackenzie Bradley, Allyssa and Tianna Moessner and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Doris (Wingert) Moessner and his son, Tim.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI. A private burial will be held later at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
