Jason M. Davis

Jason M. Davis, age 47 of Menomonie, died Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family and a few close friends.

Jason was born on October 25, 1978, in Milwaukee, the son of Michael and Nancy (Rasmussen) Davis. Jason grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School.  After high school, Jason served in the U.S. Air Force. After the service, he moved to Menomonie and attended UW-Stout. While at UW-Stout, Jason began working at The Waterfront and later purchased the business in 2009.

Jason was a vibrant soul, and he had a way of making everyone he met feel like they were lifelong friends. To know Jason was to be impacted by him. He had an uncanny way of making all who knew him feel like they were a part of something bigger and brighter. He was one of a kind and will be missed by many.  

Jason is survived by his parents, Mike and Nancy Davis of Menomonie; one brother, Jeremy (Amanda); a sister, Jaime (Ron) Petricek; nephews, Austin (Maddie) Petricek, Arther Petricek, and Aaron Petricek; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Private family services will be held.

A Celebration of Jason’s life will be held at a later date.
