Evelyn Ann (Gray) Stoeklen

Evelyn Ann (Gray) Stoeklen, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at her home in Weston, WI, just 15 days after the passing of her beloved husband of 71 years. Their reunion in eternal peace is a testament to a lifelong journey of true love, devotion, and steadfast companionship.

Evelyn married the love of her life, William James Stoeklen Sr., on May 21, 1955. Together, they made their lifelong home in the Village of Weston in Dunn County, WI, where they built a loving household and raised five children. Throughout her life, Evelyn dedicated herself to caring for others, working in healthcare while balancing the demands of family life with grace, strength, and warmth.

She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose gentle spirit and devotion to those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Evelyn is survived by her son, David (Laura) Stoeklen; daughter, Diane; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her loving brothers and sisters; and many other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William James Stoeklen Sr.; three sons, William Jr., Robert, and Steven; one grandchild, Brandi Baskin; and one great-grandchild, Miles Baskin.

Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI, with Pat Thibado officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will take place at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI, at a later date, where Evelyn will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
