The Dunn County Land & Water Conservation Division is excited to share 2027–2036 Land & Water Resource Management Plan! This 10‑year plan outlines our community’s vision for protecting soil health, safeguarding water resources, supporting farmers, and building strong conservation partnerships across the county.

The plan focuses on:

  • Strengthening collaboration with local producers, community groups, and partner agencies

  • Protecting farmland and promoting soil‑building practices like no‑till, cover crops, and grazing

  • Improving water quality in priority watersheds, including the Red Cedar and Eau Galle

  • Reducing erosion and nutrient loss across the landscape

  • Enhancing wetlands, woodlands, wildlife habitat, and other natural resources

  • Supporting resilient communities as we face changing climate conditions

This plan was shaped through public surveys, focus groups, stakeholder input, and county committee review. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, expertise, and local knowledge.

We look forward to working with residents, landowners, and partners to turn this plan into boots on the ground to benefit Dunn County today and for generations to come.
