Sam Stephens
Sam Stephens

A warm welcome to Sam Stephens, our summer intern. Stephens has this to say about her upcoming internship, “This summer, I’m thrilled to be part of the 4-H community. I’m eager to learn more about the incredible work being done and to contribute in any way I can. I look forward to connecting with all of you and supporting the amazing youth and volunteers that make 4-H so special.”

In the fall, Sam will be a senior at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, majoring in Agricultural Marketing Communications and minoring in Agricultural Business.

Things are heating up for a busy summer.

Fair Season is beginning, and we are excited to have a 4-H booth at the Colfax Free Fair. Be sure to stop by with the kids to have them do some fun activities and to learn more about 4-H. The fair runs June 12-15.

Did you know that when you join 4-H, not only do you get to do some interesting projects, but you also get to play softball? Playing ball together is a great way to get to know other 4-H youth from around the county. Juniors (8-12 years old) play on Sunday nights, and Seniors (13 years old and up) play on Tuesday nights. You will find the Dunn County 4-H Softball Schedule HERE.

County Fair entry registration is open. The Dunn County Fair runs from July 23-27. 4-Hers, if you are interested in entering something in the fair, but don’t know how, go to our webpage to learn more. Here is a video that may help.
