Beginning Saturday, August 24th, WoodWind Park will open the gates for interested hikers and disc golf enthusiasts. Initially, the first 9 holes of the championship-course-in-process will be open for disc golfers to play. The first 3 holes will challenge players as they head uphill in the trees. The signature 4th hole starts at the top of the tubing hill with the basket at the bottom! As more holes are carved, more baskets will be added. All that is asked of those playing the course is that they stop by the pavilion bar at the conclusion of their round to fill out a comment card.
The trails will also be open to those interested in hiking the grounds. Both activities are free, but all participants need to have an updated waiver on file. The waiver can be accessed online at this link: https://waiver.fr/p-iqBvD
The pavilion bar and concession stand will be open when The Park is. Except for private events and weddings, The Park will be open Saturdays 10 am-6 pm and Sundays 10 am- 4 pm. 4. King of the Hill
5. Into the Woods
6. Monarch Pass
7. Grandfather Tree
8. Knee Deep
9. ????
For those of you coming to check things out and disc golf adventurously, you’ll have a chance to propose a name for hole 9 when you fill out our brief comment card. If you need to ponder over a beverage, our servers will happily sell you a drink or two while you noodle!
The Park will be open this weekend (August 24th & 25th) Saturday, 10 am-6 pm and Sunday, 10 am-4 pm. Admission is free will donation. See you there!
