The Neighborhood Stabilization and Enhancement District (NSED) #1 is a designated area southeast of the UW–Stout campus where the City conducts proactive rental inspections under Section 9-2-8 of the City of Menomonie Code of Ordinances.

These inspections help identify potential health and safety concerns and support well-maintained rental housing.

If you rent within NSED #1, please call to schedule your inspection. A tenant must be present at the scheduled time to provide City staff access to the rental unit.

Call 715-232-2221, ext. 3 to reach the City’s Building Inspections and Zoning Department and schedule your inspection.
