UPDATE: Burn restrictions lifted as of May 19th

Burn Restrictions Lifted 5/19/25

There are no longer burning restrictions in place. If you are in need of a burn permit for a burn pile or prescribed burn you can fill out the form on the city website or find the form by searching Menomonie Rural Burning. 3’x3’ Campfires do not require a burn permit.

5/12/25 - Until Further Notice**

Due to critical fire weather conditions and an extreme fire danger rating because of extreme dry conditions, permit requests have been suspended for Dunn County. It is also highly suggested to not have any campfires as a single spark can grow rapidly to an out of control wildfire.
