Bennett D. Krueger, age 28, of Menomonie, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on August 31, 2025.

Bennett will be remembered for his gentle heart, his courageous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. Though he faced significant challenges, Bennett met them with quiet strength. In the end, the weight of those struggles became too heavy, and he left us far too soon.

Bennett was born on July 17, 1997, in Burnsville, Minnesota, to Dan and Brenda Krueger. In 2002, when he was five years old, the family moved to Menomonie, Wisconsin, where he spent the rest of his childhood. He graduated from Menomonie High School in 2016.

Following high school, Bennett lived in Fargo, North Dakota, for several years, and later in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, before recently returning to Menomonie. He was attending Chippewa Valley Technical College, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management.

Bennett loved his family deeply and was a source of kindness, wit, and thoughtful conversation. He enjoyed computer games and board games, always drawn to strategic thinking and planning his next move. He also had a curious mind when it came to food—he liked exploring new recipes and experimenting with different spices, always in search of ways to make things taste better. Those who knew him will always remember his authenticity, intelligence, and the quiet way he made others feel seen and valued.

He is survived by his parents, Dan and Brenda Krueger; his twin sister, Alayna (Connor) Evens of Forest Lake, MN, and his sister, Kenna (Ben Kroll) Krueger of Eau Claire, WI; and his grandparents, Walter and Janice Krueger. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Steve (Linda) Otto, Cherlynne (Stephen Harmon) Krueger, and David Krueger; his cousins, Allison Otto, Marcellus Krueger, and Persephone Krueger; and many other extended family members who loved him dearly.

Bennett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Sherry Otto.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a mental health organization of your choice, in honor of Bennett’s life and his journey.
