It's time for Behind the Badge Fridays!

Ordinance: (4-1-3) Storing Furniture

Furniture not intended for outdoor use can't remain outdoors and is exposed to the elements.

Why?

1.) Prevents rodents, raccoons, and insect infestations.

2.) Fabric or foam furniture can be a fire hazard.

3.) Abandoned furniture can lead to soil or water contamination.

4.) Items like couches or mattresses can collect moisture, leading to mold, mildew, and pest infestations.
