Anne E. Whiteagle Johnnson



Anne Elizabeth Whiteagle Johnson passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 72 years old.


Born in Winona, Minnesota, on December 12, 1952, Anne graduated from St. Mary’s College in Winona before building a fulfilling career and eventually retiring from the University of Wisconsin–Stout. Her strong faith was a guiding light throughout her life; she was a devoted and longtime member of the Menomonie congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.


She was a loving and thoughtful mother, grandmother, and friend, always generous with her time, her heart, and her kindness. She cherished every moment spent traveling, exploring new places, and creating memories with her loved ones — especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Josephine Johnson; her beloved daughter, Summer Dawn WhiteEagle; and her cherished grandson, Atlas Echo Timothy WhiteEagle.


Anne is survived by her daughter, Autumn Whiteagle; her son, Calvin (Dustyn) White Eagle; and her adored grandchildren, Calvin, Maxus, and Ruby.


Her unwavering love, faith, and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Jehovah's Witness services will be held on May 17th at 2:00 PM at the Menomonie Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
