The annual Winter Wear Open House will take place on Saturday, November 7, and Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Marketplace Foods in Menomonie.

Individuals and families can pick up free winter clothing, including coats, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and other cold-weather essentials for adults and children. Sizes available are dependent on donations received.

The event is organized in partnership with Marketplace Foods and United Way St. Croix and Red Cedar Valleys (UW Valleys). Community donations collected through October 31 help stock the Open House and provide clothing to those who need it.

“We’re grateful to everyone who has donated and helped make free winter clothing available to local families,” said Megan Hausch, Interim Executive Director at UW Valleys. “Community support makes this event possible.”
