Wakanda Waterpark opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, June 6th at 11:00 am. Read on for information about the waterpark.


GENERAL INFORMATION

2026 Schedule:

The waterpark is open from June 6th through August 23rd, 2026. The waterpark may close early throughout the season due to low attendance or weather.

Hours: 

Monday - Thursday: 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm            

Friday - Sunday: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm  

Family Night is on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm. All children must attend with their families. 


Daily Admission Fees: 

Ages 2+: $6.00 per person              

Group Rate (15+): $5.00 per person              

Infants (Under 2): Free


Daily admission fees are only payable at Wakanda Waterpark. You may purchase all other fees/passes/rentals online or in person/via phone at the Menomonie Recreation Department 715-232-1664.

Directions: 

From I-94, exit Highway 25 South. Follow 25 South (Broadway St. ) to Pine Avenue. Turn left on Pine Avenue. You will see the waterpark on your left as you enter Wakanda Park. 


What counts as a "family" for a family pass?

  • All immediate family members (minimum of one and maximum of two adults and their children under the age of 18) living at the same address during the summer. Grandparents and immediate family members under the age of 25 attending college may be included on a family pass at an additional charge of $25 per person.


  • Super Pool Pass: 10 free passes to municipal pools in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Menomonie. Free with the purchase of a Family Season Pass. Pending approval from each community.


  • Exclusive Pool Rentals - $400/Hour: The pool is available between the hours of 7 pm and 9 pm. Monday through Sunday. Unlimited pool admissions.

  • Non-Exclusive Pool Rental (20% Discount): 250 daily admissions for $650, good for either youth or adults. Includes use of available grounds and multi-purpose party room, to coincide with hours listed above. The pool remains open to the public.

  • Party Room Rentals: $100 per rental: Three-hour rental, either between 12:30 am and 3:30 pm or 4 pm and 7 pm Monday - Sunday. The fee must be paid in advance. To reserve the party room, please call the Menomonie Recreation Department at 715-232-1664. Admissions for 12 individuals and exclusive use of the multi-purpose party room are included. Admissions past the original 12 will be charged as a daily rate. 


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  • Swim diapers and/or plastic pants are required for children under the age of 3 or if child is not fully potty trained. Swim diapers are available on site.

  • Portions of the pool may be closed if attendance falls below 50 guests, low staffing, or weather conditions justify closing. No refunds.

  • The waterpark is not responsible for accidents or lost articles.

  • Guards have the authority to remove guests from the facility for failure to adhere to the rules and for endangering their safety and that of others.

  • Life Jackets will be allowed if they are Coast Guard Type III PFD or Level 70 buoyancy. Those wearing a life jacket must follow these rules: life jacket must be a Coast Guard Type III PFD or Level 70, kids in a life jacket can't go past blue line, Life Jackets not allowed on Big Slide, Diving Board, or Chute Slide, and adult must stay within an arms reach of their child at all times. Life jackets must be worn properly with all straps buckled. 

  • Swimmers age 12 and under must be supervised by at least a 16 year old.

Depth Markings: 

  • Yellow Line - 1 Foot 

  • Red Line - 2 Feet 

  • Blue Line - 3 Feet 

  • Black Line - 4 Feet


Prohibited Items: 

  • Alcohol, Drugs, and Tobacco 

  • Cut-off Jeans, Street Shoes, and Jewelry 

  • Fins, Snorkels, and Masks

  • Radios and Speakers

  • Pets

  • Glass

  • Please note - Certain flotation devices are not allowed. Including any life jacket that is not Coast Guard Type III PFD or level 70, arm floaties, puddle jumpers, or swim suits with padding.
