UW-Stout Continuing Education offers Play by Design: Fabricating Classic Games

The UW-Stout Continuing Education is offering a hands-on course where you can build two classic games from scratch inside the UW-Stout Fab Lab. This is the first of several courses we are offering that will take you into UW-Stout's labs and studios, giving you a unique chance to get inside these state-of-the-art spaces and see what is possible.

We want to empower you to turn your ideas into reality. You will get hands-on access to digital fabrication tools, including laser cutters, 3D printers, mini mills, and routers. We provide expert training and oversight to make sure you have a safe and welcoming environment to learn these new tools. No previous experience with the tools is necessary.

The goal is to help you gain the skills and confidence to design and create on your own while walking away with two games. With expert guidance in a safe, welcoming environment, you will develop the skills and confidence to design, create, and continue exploring the Fab Lab independently.

Dates: March 3 and 10, 2026

Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
